Sölden – 1.377m
Sölden is certainly one of the top 5 international ski resorts in Austria. The town itself stretches for more than 2km along the valley floor with traditional Tyrolean-style buildings situated on both sides of the river and along the main road. It is a vibrant resort with a great atmosphere. With more runs than Chamonix and Kitzbühel, Sölden has a lot to offer.
The annual opening World Cup Ski race is hosted on the Rettenbach glacier every October.
There are countless restaurants, bars and shops along the main street and a sports centre with indoor adventure pool, public sauna, indoor tennis courts and bowling. The après-ski is world-renowned with numerous pubs and clubs offering live music and DJs.

Beginners and novice skiers are invited to ski at Gaisberg lift, Mahdstuhl lift or the practicing slope featuring a beginner’s lift. More advanced skiers find a truly unique sports paradise in the Festkogl ski area in Obergurgl and along the Schermerspitze ski trail – which are both of intermediate difficulty. Real experts can conquer the steep Hohe Mut ski run in Obergurgl and the challenging mogul piste down from Top-Wurmkogl II in Hochgurgl.

HOHE MUT, 2,670 m
The Hohe Mut (2,670 m) is one of Tirol’s most breathtaking vantage points overlooking no less than 21 mountains higher than 3,000 meters. A ride with the new Hohe Mut mountain gondola makes a truly unforgettable experience, offering uninterrupted views of the stunning Alpine scenery. The first Hohe Mut single chairlift was built in 1953, it was replaced by the 8-person gondola in 2007. Have a glass of fine wine and enjoy culinary delights in a very special ambiance. The immaculate ski trail down to Obergurgl, featuring snow-making systems, is a unique highlight.

Welcome to the central Ötztal. A paradise for Nordic skiers, runners and snowshoe hikers. 70 kilometers cross-country skiing network with classic-style and skating tracks for all ability levels. More than 40 kilometers of sign-posted winter running trails. In addition, a Running Competence Center offering medical check-ups, a wide range of training options plus personalised advice coupled with made to measure training programs. In immediate vicinity to Ötztals high Alpine resorts.
EXPERIENCE TOTAL RELAXATION

Vent – 1900m
Vent, Tirol’s mountain village, is located on an altitude of 1,900m (approx. 18km from Sölden) and is set amidst a breathtaking mountain landscape. Here you can enjoy winter, sports and nature. We offer an ideal family ski area – small and easily accessible. Distances are short; slopes are suitable for all levels: beginners, expert skiers and families are welcome!
WINTER SKI AREA
Choose from a double chair lift and three T-bar ski lifts covering 15 km of immaculate slopes for all ages and levels.
The ultimate toboggan track (5 km) invites all winter fans to enjoy funny sledding adventures. Cross-country skiers can take advantage of the well-groomed 2.5 km nordic track. Additionally, the Vent Ski School is waiting for you with a team of certified winter sports instructors for both adults and children.
Wildspitze – 3773m
The Wildspitze mountain has been famous ever since Leander Klotz from Rofen and an unknown companion have conquered it for the first time in 1848. It became even more famous when the glacier priest Franz Senn was the first tourist to reach the summit. With the opening of the first trails and huts the first mountaineers came. This was the beginning of Alpine tourism in Vent.
Umhausen / Niederthai – 1039m
Fairytale-like, snow-covered landscapes, perfectly groomed cross-country skiing tracks and the sun on your skin. That’s what Umhausen/Niederthai is about. This special holiday region offers ideal conditions into late March. Enjoy traditional landscapes, the rural character as well as the peaceful atmosphere amidst nature
SUNSHINE SKIING
Like almost no other sport, cross-country skiing builds up muscles, shapes the body and is easy on the joints. Outdoor exercise releases endorphins, the body’s own antidepressants. Oetz – 820m
Oetz – the village that gave the Ötztal valley its name – was, because of its location in the anterior Ötztal valley, the first classic winter sports center of the valley. Every 15 minutes a local ski bus brings you from one end of the village to the other. With the new 8-seater gondola you can get to the Hochoetz ski area in 8 minutes only. This area features 27 well-prepared slopes for skiing and snowboarding at its best for the whole family.
Sautens – 810m
For all those who want to stay away from the winter sports centers and are looking for peace and relaxation, but still want to be close to the ski areas, we recommend staying in the romantic village of Sautens. Sautens is quietly located on the western side of the Ötztal valley and is an ideal base for getting to the nearby ski areas. A network of free ski buses connects Sautens to the snow-sure Hochoetz ski area (2km) and the Kühtai ski area (18km).
Haiming / Ochsengarten – 670m
Thanks to its high Alpine location Ochsengarten offers snow guarantee and unlimited winter fun right on your doorstep. Besides the Hochoetz ski area, which is directly and easily accessible, Ochsengarten boasts a free skibus shuttle service (15-minute ride) to the Kühtai ski area. Ochsengarten is a unique skiers’ paradise far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
